Standard Form 1428 (SF 1428): Inventory Disposal Schedule

Standard Form 1428 (SF 1428), Inventory Disposal Schedule, is a four-page form: two pages of schedule and two pages of instructions. The footer says it is prescribed by GSA under FAR (48 CFR) 53.245(e) and 53.249(b), the authority GSA's page also lists, and GSA hosts it in its forms library. The edition printed on the form is STANDARD FORM 1428 (REV. 10/2023), with OMB Control Number 9000-0075 and an expiration date of 7/31/2028. The heading also points to FAR 52.245 - 1 (j).

The instructions say the Contractor shall submit all schedules to the Plant Clearance Officer. The schedule identifies the contracts, the prime contractor and any subcontractor with CAGE codes, and the location of the property, then lists each item with its description, codes, quantity, cost and the contractor's offer. The instructions give the contract type codes, property classifications and condition codes.

The form estimates 2 hours to read the instructions, gather the facts and answer the questions. You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
