Inventory Disposal Report
Standard Form 1424 (SF 1424), Inventory Disposal Report, is a two-page report on a plant clearance case. The footer says it is prescribed by GSA under FAR (48 CFR) 53.245(d), the authority GSA's page also lists, and GSA hosts it in its forms library. The edition printed on the form is STANDARD FORM 1424 (REV. 10/2023), and the heading points to the Federal Acquisition Regulation at FAR 45.605.
The front page records the plant clearance case number, the dates the case was opened and closed, the contractor or subcontractor, the location of the property and the contract numbers. A Disposition Of Property table then counts line items, acquisition cost and proceeds for each way the inventory was handled, from purchase or retention at cost and redistribution to donations, sales, abandonment and destruction. The back page holds remarks and a certification signed by the Contract Administration Office.
The form prints no OMB number and no time estimate. You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
