VA Form 26-8630: Manufactured Home Loan Claim Under Loan Guaranty

VA Form 26-8630 is the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Manufactured Home Loan Claim Under Loan Guaranty. VA's form page lists it under housing assistance. The form's heading says it covers a manufactured home unit and lot, or a lot only, under Section 3712, Chapter 37, Title 38, U.S.C. Its respondent burden notice says VA needs the information to determine the amount payable under the loan guaranty.

The claimant is the loan holder, which may be the original lender or an assignee or transferee. The Veteran appears on the form as the original veteran-obligor and does not sign it. The certification says the undersigned is the owner of the loan and that the Certificate of Guaranty or Endorsement of Guaranty will be surrendered or cancelled in accordance with 38 CFR 36.4218 upon full payment of the claim.

The form is two pages. Page 1 holds the loan details, the cutoff date, the status of accounts in up to two interest columns, the amount claimed and the final accounting on liquidation. Page 2 is the statement of account, Schedule A liquidation expenses, remarks, the certification and the signatures. VA Form 26-8629 has the same name and covers the unit only.
