Placement Certificate for Manufactured Home
VA Form 26-8644 is the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Placement Certificate for Manufactured Home, under Section 3712, Chapter 37, Title 38, U.S.C. VA's form page lists it under housing assistance. It is addressed to a financial institution, named on the form, and records where the financed manufactured home was placed.
The form is one page. It identifies the VA loan and the financial institution, describes the home and holds two certifications. In the certification by the Veteran, the Veteran certifies where the home was placed and acknowledges receipt of it and of the furnishings, equipment and accessories itemized in the Sales Agreement. The certification by the dealer applies only on dealer-seller sales.
A notice on the form tells the Veteran not to sign the certificate until the manufactured home has been delivered and contains all the furnishings, equipment and accessories itemized in the sales agreement. You can fill out the PDF free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
