Standard Form 702 (SF 702): Security Container Check Sheet

Standard Form 702 (SF 702), Security Container Check Sheet, is a one-page log for a security container. Its footer reads Standard Form 702 (REV. 1/2020), Prescribed by NARA/ISOO, 32 CFR PART 2001 EO 13526, and GSA's page lists the authority as 32 CFR PART 2001 and Executive Order 13526. GSA hosts a copy in its forms library.

The page has two matching panels. Each carries the certification "I certify, by my initials below, that I have opened, closed or checked this security container in accordance with pertinent agency regulations and operating instructions," a month, day and year line, and rows with Date, Opened by, Closed by, Checked by and Guard check (if required) columns, each split into initials and time. The panels also hold TO and THRU (if required), FROM, room number, building and container number. It is a record kept under agency regulations, not something the public files.

You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
