Standard Form 118 (SF 118): Report of Excess Real Property

Standard Form 118 (SF 118), Report of Excess Real Property, is a one-page report addressed from a holding agency, named in block 4, to the General Services Administration, named in block 3. The footer says it is prescribed by GSA FMR (41 CFR) 102-75.115, and GSA hosts a copy in its forms library. GSA's page lists the same citation as its authority or regulation.

The form asks for the property's identification and full location, space data for its buildings, land area, the cost to the Government, any leasehold data, the type of construction, the holding agency's use and the range of possible uses. Some totals come from the supplement schedules: the form points to SF 118A for building totals, SF 118B for land, and Schedules A, B and C for cost.

The footer says it is authorized for local reproduction and that the previous edition is not usable. You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
