VITA/TCE Partner Sponsor Agreement
Form 13533 is the VITA/TCE Partner Sponsor Agreement. It is signed by a partner that serves as a sponsor in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) or Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) volunteer tax return preparation programs. It is not a tax return and individual taxpayers do not file it.
The one-page form lists key principles for partners and volunteers: keeping taxpayer information confidential, protecting physical and electronic data during and after filing season, getting the taxpayer's consent before using or disclosing data for other purposes, and deleting taxpayer information on all computers after filing season. Lines 1 through 7 ask for the sponsor's name, address, telephone number and email address. By signing, the sponsor agrees to the principles and to the volunteer standards of conduct in Form 13615.
