VA Form 26-0829: Servicer's Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) Application

VA Form 26-0829 is the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Servicer's Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) Application. A servicer uses it to nominate one of its employees as a Staff Appraisal Reviewer, and the nominee and a senior officer of the company each sign their own statements and certifications. The form ties the reviews to the requirements in chapter 18 of the VA Lender's Handbook and to VA loan liquidation purposes.

The form asks for details about the servicer, its nominee and its officers, not a Veteran's personal details. The PDF is two pages. Section I covers the SAR nominee, Section II names the officer responsible for the quality of the reviewer's work, and Section III holds the senior officer's statements and certifications. The form says to type or print, and that answers must be legible.
