GSA Form 1656: Inventory of Emergency Operating Records

GSA Form 1656, Inventory of Emergency Operating Records, is a General Services Administration form. Its footer prints GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION and GSA FORM 1656 (Rev 6-90), and GSA hosts it in its forms library. GSA's page lists no authority or regulation for it.

It is an internal GSA record. An originating office lists each emergency operating record it keeps at a site: what the item is, the site location, who sends copies to the site, how often records are dispatched and how the site maintains and disposes of them. The instructions on the reverse say each inventory is reviewed, signed and dated by the appropriate S/SO or regional emergency coordinator and by the GSA or Regional Records Officer.

GSA Form 1656-B, Identification Label - Prepositioned Records, copies its entries from this inventory. You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
