AO 93
Search and Seizure Warrant
AO 93, Search and Seizure Warrant, is a United States District Court form from the U.S. Courts. The U.S. Courts page lists it under Law Enforcement, Grand Jury, and Prosecution Forms, effective on November 1, 2013, and the PDF prints the edition AO 93 (Rev. 11/13).
It is a warrant a judge issues and signs, addressed to any authorized law enforcement officer, after an application by a federal law enforcement officer or an attorney for the government. Page 1 identifies the person or property to be searched and what is to be seized, the date by which the warrant is executed (not to exceed 14 days), whether in the daytime or at any time, and any delayed notice. Page 2 is the Return, with the inventory and a certification the executing officer signs. It is a court-issued warrant, not a form members of the public file.
