Personalized Career Planning and Guidance/Chapter 36 (VA Form 27-8832)
VA Form 27-8832 is the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs application for Personalized Career Planning and Guidance (PCPG) benefits under Title 38, Chapter 36. VA's form page says to use it to apply for personalized career counseling and support to help you find a training program or job.
The PDF has four pages: a page of information and instructions, then the application in Sections I to V. The applicant picks the services requested, gives Veteran or service member details, adds claimant details only when the claimant is not the Veteran, and signs a certification. The JUL 2026 edition supersedes VA Form 28-8832, JUN 2023.
VA's page says you can apply online instead of filling out and sending the paper form. You can fill out the PDF free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
