Standard Form 1443 (SF 1443): Contractor's Request for Progress Payment

Standard Form 1443 (SF 1443), Contractor's Request for Progress Payment, is a five-page form: the request and its certification come first, with instructions starting on page 2 and a Paperwork Reduction Act statement on page 5. The footer says it is prescribed by GSA under FAR (48 CFR) 53.232, and GSA hosts it in its forms library. The edition is STANDARD FORM 1443 (REV. 10/2023), OMB Control Number 9000-0010, and the footer says the previous edition is not usable.

Section I identifies the contracting office, the contractor and the contract. Section II is a statement of costs under the contract through a given date and works out the maximum balance eligible for progress payments. Section III computes the limits for outstanding progress payments and the amount of the current invoice. A contractor representative signs a certification, and the contracting officer enters the amount approved.

The form says all dollar amounts are shown in whole dollars. You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
