Additional Credits and Payments (Spanish Version)
Schedule 3 (Form 1040) (sp) is the Spanish version of Schedule 3 for tax year 2025. Its Spanish title is "Anexo 3 (Formulario 1040), Créditos y Pagos Adicionales". The part headings and line labels are in Spanish. The IRS office names in the header and the footer "Schedule 3 (Form 1040) (sp) 2025" are in English.
The schedule says to attach it to Form 1040, 1040-SR or 1040-NR. Part I, "Créditos No Reembolsables", gathers nonrefundable credits such as the foreign tax credit, the child and dependent care credit and education credits, and its total on line 8 goes to line 20 of the return. Part II, "Otros Pagos y Créditos Reembolsables", gathers other payments and refundable credits, and its total on line 15 goes to line 31.
Most lines take an amount from another form, such as Form 2441, 8863, 5695 or 8962. For instructions, the schedule points to www.irs.gov/Form1040SP. You can fill out the PDF free in your browser on this page and download it without an account.
