GSA Form 3079: Record of Official Time Used for Representational Functions

GSA Form 3079, Record of Official Time Used for Representational Functions, is a General Services Administration form. The footer reads GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION and GSA FORM 3079 (REV. 3-85), and the header prints reports control symbol AAD-17. GSA hosts it in its forms library.

The instructions on the back say the data is to be completed by the immediate supervisor of an employee who is granted, and uses, official time to perform representational functions. They describe representational functions as activities a GSA employee engages in under the employee's right to representation under a statute, regulation, executive order or the terms of a collective bargaining agreement. The form says these reporting requirements shall not be read as a source of rights to official time or travel or per diem.

The front holds the employee and supervisor details and a log with columns A to H. The back lists the function codes and has a remarks section. You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
