Virtual VITA/TCE Taxpayer Consent (Bengali Version)
Form 14446 (bn) is the Bengali version of Form 14446, Virtual VITA/TCE Taxpayer Consent. The three-page PDF is printed in Bengali for taxpayers at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) sites who read Bengali. The IRS name in the header, the program acronyms, the method letters A to E and the page footers are in English. The English edition is Form 14446.
The Bengali text says the form is needed when the intake/interview and/or the quality review are not held in person between the taxpayer and the VITA/TCE volunteer, and that the site explains to the taxpayer the process used to prepare the return. The site fills in Part I and Part II. The taxpayer answers the questions in Part III and signs, and when spouses file jointly both sign.
The header is dated November 2023 and each footer prints Form 14446 (bn) (Rev. 11-2023). You can fill it out free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.

Site name, site address (street, city, state and ZIP code), site identification number (SIDN), site coordinator name, and the site contact's name and telephone number.
A drop off site, an intake site, a return preparation and/or quality review only site, a combination site, and the 100% virtual VITA/TCE process.
Eleven numbered items, each with a guiding question: scheduling, consent, intake and securing documents, identity checks with photo ID and Social Security cards or ITIN letters, interview, preparation, contact, quality review, sharing, signing and e-filing.
The form says IRS employees select free tax preparation sites for review, the site corrects any errors found, and leaving your return out of the review does not cost you any service at the site.
Says that if systems outside the IRS are used and are hacked or breached without your knowledge, federal law may not be able to stop further use of your tax information, and that sites may not be on federal property.
A Yes or No on using the site's virtual VITA/TCE process, then printed name, date of birth, date, phone, email and an electronic or a typed or printed signature for the taxpayer and the spouse.
The site enters its name, address, SIDN, coordinator and contact, then marks each virtual method, A to E, that it uses.
For each of the 11 items, the site writes how it is handled. Item 2 asks how Form 14446 is signed, received and stored, and item 11 asks when the return is e-filed.
The form says the site explains the process it uses, and when needed volunteers advise taxpayers of the risks of moving their data from one site to another.
Check Yes or No on whether an IRS employee may review the return prepared at this site for accuracy.
Check Yes or No on the site's virtual VITA/TCE process, enter printed name, date of birth, date, phone and email, then sign electronically or by typing or printing.
On a joint return, the spouse fills in the second column with printed name, date of birth, date, phone and email, and signs.
You get the real form, filled in a browser tab, with nothing standing between you and the finished PDF.
The Bengali text says the third page of the form is kept at the site with all other required documents. No IRS mailing address is printed.
The disclosure says consent lasts for the period the taxpayer gives. If no period is given, it is valid for one year from the date of signature.
The form says the site may not be able to use this process to prepare the return.
The form names the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), by phone at 1-800-366-4484 or by email at [email protected].
The form says the IRS sets oversight requirements for VITA and TCE, while IRS sponsored partners operate the sites and oversee site operations and volunteer ethical standards.
