VA Form 10-8678: Application for Annual Clothing Allowance

VA Form 10-8678 is the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Application for Annual Clothing Allowance. VA's form page says it is used to apply for a clothing allowance by a Veteran with a service-connected disability who uses a prosthetic or orthopedic device or skin medication that damages clothing, and that the benefit provides an annual payment to help replace affected clothing.

VA's page lists three reasons to use the form: applying for the first time, requesting an additional allowance for new qualifying devices or skin medications, or stopping the allowance when a qualifying device or skin medication is no longer used. The one-page PDF holds the instructions, Items 1 to 8, a certification and the signature line. VA's page says you can also apply online.

You can fill out the PDF free in your browser on this page and download the result without an account.
