AO 199B
Additional Conditions of Release
AO 199B, Additional Conditions of Release, is a two-page court order that sets added conditions on a defendant's release. The U.S. Courts page lists it under Pretrial Release and Appearance Bond Forms, updated on September 1, 2024 and effective on October 1, 2020, and the PDF prints the edition (Rev. 09/24).
The form says that under 18 U.S.C. § 3142(c)(1)(B), the court may impose the following least restrictive condition(s) only as necessary to reasonably assure the appearance of the person as required and the safety of any other person and the community. It then reads IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the defendant's release is subject to the conditions marked below. Condition 6 places the defendant in a custodian's custody, and condition 7, items (a) to (s), covers supervision, travel and contact limits, treatment, substance testing, remote alcohol testing and location monitoring. It is an order of the court, not a form the public files; a custodian named in condition 6 signs it.
